Absolution

In the futuristic state-run Office of Absolution, transgressions are supposedly forgiven if you fill out the proper forms, but the clients often leave in a worse state than when they came in. Their slogan is “Happiness is Productivity”. The play depicts a world in which bureaucracy rules.
